Hey there, if anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it!! So I'm making Leia's dress from Return of the Jedi and I meshed it from two different in-game items. When it's in blender it looks great, but once it's put in game it becomes deformed and cut off in certain places. The belt also moves with her feet (it could be another part too, idk) and won't stay on her waist. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help in any way? By the way, here's a screenshot in game of how it looks in CAS. Thanks! Screenshot

You need to re-transfer all data and remove all overlapping geometry. - hover over an area, press L, select all nude arms and legs like this, Delete - faces; - select everything with A and Merge - Merge - By distance; - find a maxis dress of the same legth, export the blend, append it in the scene, rename to Reference as shown below; - transfer weights, vertex color and uv_1 from the reference to your garment; - in uv_0 move uvs away from the space meant for shoes; - append a swimsuit, select it, in edit mode select everything and remove doubles; - enable x ray, select all parts of the body covered by clothing, Delete - faces; - join with the garment - also, a shadow map imitates shadows the garment casts on the body, take a look at the original maxis one to see what i mean How to make an item move and morph by transferring weights, uv_1 and vertex paint
Transfer weights, uv_1 and vertex paint with Data transfer. The result may not always be perfect, but it is best to solve problems as they come:
- Unhide the reference. It must be visible* ( eye icon ) and selectable* ( cursor icon );
- Select your hair;
- In Modifiers tab add Data transfer modifier;
- Choose Reference as Source object;
- Enable Vertex data and expand it;
- Enable Vertex groups*;
- In Mapping choose Nearest face interpolated;
- Enable and expand Face corner data;
- Enable Colors*;
- Shift*-click to enable UVs as well;
- In Mapping choose Nearest face interpolated;
- Expand UVs, choose uv_1 in Layer selection ( don't forget, otherwise uv_0 will be overwritten as well);
- Click on Generate data layers*;
- Apply the modifier;
- In Data tab expand UV maps. Double-click on UVmap, rename it to uv_0;
- If uv_1 appeared, it most likely transferred successfully;
- Expand Color attributes. If you see color0, it transferred;
- Expand Vertex groups. If you see names of vertex groups, they most likely transferred successfully. However, there is one ( or two ) more thing(s) you need to do;
- If you're using Blender 2.76 - 2.79, 3.6.1, switch to Edit mode, select everything with A, Mesh - Weights - Clean with Subset set to All groups to fix the result of a bug that exists in these versions;
- Regardless of your version of Blender, in Edit mode, with everything still selected, do Mesh - Weights - Limit total.
* Data will not transfer if you will forget to do these steps!!! | |

Thanks, it's working now!! However now I have an area of the legs where the diffuse texture is covering, I assume it's a mapping issue but can you help me in any way to fix that as well? I'm going to do the shadow map once I fix the texture problem. Here are the updated files with a screenshot of the issue

In Blender the body and the garment have different materials assigned to them that display different textures. In s4s the mesh displays only one diffuse texture. see how some uvs are lighter than others? This is where they overlap. The uvs of legs are where textures of the garment are. You need to select and delete all overlapping geometry. Ideally, you'd want to delete all area of legs that is hidden by the skirt, but you most likely would not want to do it, so at least move uvs and textures of the skirt elsewhere, so that legs do not project them ( you cannot move uvs of legs )

So the uv relocation fixed the leg issue, but now I have this problem in CAS... I reupdated the files once again so the link from the previous post should take you to them

The black outline is shadow map related. Convert it to dds ( bc3, generated mipmaps), then re-import
As for sunken chest, id need to see the updated blend file
