i tried connecting my blender to my s4s but it's not compatible and i tried to get the compatible ver but nothing is working :( which s4s is compatible with blender 2.8? i looked through the thread but didn't see anything

sims4studio.com/board/6/download-sims-studio-open-version - Beta version. Either Windows or Mac version, depending on your system. "Studio can now use Blender 3.6 through 4.1. If you have issues with the new Blender, Studio still has support for the 2.7 versions** that previous versions of Studio were compatible with." (according to the link above - There's some more info about the Blender versions in the download topic) (**Blender 2.76-2.79, possibly also 2.70, but likely best to use the newer 2.7+ versions) The "Community tested" version of S4S is very outdated, no point in using that one if you want your CC to be compatible with the game. It doesn't have support for newer animals or infants, or a bunch of other things.
