I've noticed this in a couple of objects I have worked with. I have never been able to figure out what the issues is, due to my lack of knowledge (I've just learned Blender as I go, pretty much - there are SO MANY things I know nothing about). When in Blender, I do not see any sign of this issue whatsoever. In game is where it is visible.
The issue shows up as black streaks, mostly emanating from some focal point on the object. In another object that shows up but also some heavy distortions.
With the tenor saxophone I didn't even notice it much until I tried ReShade. It's visible without ReShade, but is faint.
The next model is actually a rip from a game that I downloaded and all I did with it was pose it (poorly, but that's aside from the point xD). There is no decimation used on the lod 0. I'll share both: Tenor SaxophoneGalarian Rapidash

Hi. Shadow meshes should match their main meshes. Otherwise, it causes problems with the depth buffer for SSAO ( example). Option 1.Remove shadow LODs. Or just clone a deco plant. Option 2.Clone an item that uses the Instanced shader (some outdoor and debug items).

I cloned them from a deco plant (which had no shadow LODs) and got them working! Yay!
However, I'm not sure I understand what's wrong with the ones that weren't working. As far as I understand, I did the Shadow LODs correctly. The way I did them has always worked for other models, so I'm left confused as to what is wrong specifically with these specific objects.
There's a heck of a lot about Sims4Studio that I know nothing at all about. I'm just curious.

Maybe transformbone? shadow meshes are meant to have nothing, only the shape

Maybe transformbone? shadow meshes are meant to have nothing, only the shape I sampled a couple of EA meshes. The ones I tested do have that, but my mesh (at least the unicorn one) doesn't have that.
One thing I noticed is that EA seems to get rid of their UV maps for the shadow LODs. Maybe it's an issue that I'm not?

I checked the saxaphone file and, if my memory serves me well, it had only transformbone. Haven’t checked many, but you can just do it exactly as ea did in a specific file. It would be best to start a package again, just in case something is already messed up

That sound and looks like the same issue I found (posted a while ago here -> linkwith a deco sims created by Reigningsims, but sadly no answer. The sim in the picture is a recolor from her saluting deco sim and while taking a closer look I saw these black casting shadow issues kind of like the ones in your pics. Her butler, holding a plate, has the same issue. Using a plant mesh with no shadow lods solved my issue.
