So I've been watching lots of marvelous designer to blender to sims studio clothes cc tutorials. I noticed that people have been using 2.70 and 2.78. Is it possible to do the same with Blender 4.1? Or is there a tutorial available that uses 4.1?
The weight transfer UI is a bit different and when I work on files and follow tutorials the results don't look the same. The weights would transfer under the garment. I might just be doing it wrong. Just an example scenario.
Also a general question for creators do you still use 2.70 and 2.78 versions? Or use 4.1?

Hi. When you come across a tutorial where two versions of blender are used, close it right away. It is a sign that the author was a beginner themselves and did not think of googling how to transfer weights and sample vertex paint right before teaching others how to do it in a backward way, so you can expect more "impractical recommendations" Everything can be made in one version. This video shows the adaptation for 3.6 but is applicable to 4.1 as well. It is not a proper tutorial, just a demonstration, but you most likely already have some idea of what is done for what reason
