You cloned a legit hat, it does not work with them. What i meant was this, the hair made of one meshgroup

oh my bad, created a new package from one of these and used its normal map as a reference and uploaded new one but it's still not working

Hm, the normal map appears until you re-categorize the item to an accessory that what all of it is about Unrelated, but both specular maps must be half the size of the diffuse

Interesting I see, I tried changing the categories but I'm not seeing the normal, what's the specific category other than accesories that you've assigned and did you change the package's entry value from RightWrist? Also I'll fix the map/weights issues you mentioned thanks!

I started from the hair package and kept it there, so the normal map worked. Once i switched the category, it disappeared. I take it the game is programmed this way and there is nothing that can be done about it, just do not add a normal map
