Okay so I’m currently working on a project, a top to be specific. I went to sims 4 studio to export a .blend file using blender 2.78, went back into blender to append it as a .OBJ and it is coming up like an avatar and not the top I exported? I tried exporting multiple tops and they’re all doing the same thing. I tried this in blender 2.79 and 2.70 as well and it kept having the same issue. I also restarted with some other tops I created just to test it and it’s doing the same thing to all of my creations (I used marvelous designer to create them) I’ve never seen this happen before, is there something I can do to fix this?
Also, I am exporting the .blend file from sims 4 studio so I can do weight painting in blender.

Hi. I didn’t quite get whats happening, so I’ll explain what you need to do for things to work right: - delete all versions of blender beside 2.79, you only need one and should avoid tutorials that tell to use multiple, they are made by beginners; - change blender path in s4s to blender.exe in blender 2.79 installation folder; - clone a top of similar length, export the blend, open; - import your obj; - if your garment does not import, go back to MD, export again, making sure to uncheck All avatars and enable All patters If that won’t help, share a blend that contains the problem
