Hello. Hope someone can help me with this. I use blender 4.1 to make a hair mesh. When I import it into s4s 3.2.1.7 (Star), it only loads for a few moments and nothing changes. My mesh doesn't override the original one. The s4s setting is correct. The cut number seems to match. I applied data transfer. I also did pose mods with blender 4.1 previously, everything was successful. So, I don't know where is the problem. Here is my blend file. THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!!

Hi. It seems like two things are preventing s4s from importing your blend: - when you create your first ever curve, switch to edit mode right away, do not transform it in object mode. Even if you will reset all transforms to delta, s4s will still continue to see it as extremely big; - seems like color attributes were created incorrectly. You should transfer them instead; Do this: - in s4s settings click on ... and navigate to blender.exe in blender 4.1 installation folder if it isnt yet; - clone a maxis hair of similar shape, export the blend, open; - File - Append - the blend you shared - Object - all 3 meshgroups, append; - select s4studio_mesh_1.001 and delete the color attribute; - transfer vertex paint from s4studio_mesh_1 like this: choose s4studio_mesh_1 as source object, enable face corner data, then colors, choose Nearest face interpolated, click on Generate data layers, apply; - do the same with other meshgroups, dont forget to delete the original color attribute; - select the s4studio_mesh_1, switch to edit mode, Delete - Faces so that this meshgroup is empty. Do the same with others original ones; - select s4studio_mesh_1.001 first, then Ctrl-select s4studio_mesh_1, join with Ctrl J. This will reset transforms in a way that s4s will most certainly accept. Do the same with others; - import back. I checked and it worked.

Thank you really much, It finally worked!
Can I ask if I make the hair mesh next time, do I need to apply the data transfer like this? Cause I found that there was a little bit differences when I did it myself. This may be the reason why the colour attributes are incorrect.

Thank you for this, Mauvemorn!!! When it comes to this stuff, you are a godsend, I swear. Transferring vertex paint was driving me crazy last night. I ended up rage-quitting and went to bed. Should have looked up one of your posts, instead. I used Blender 2.78 for years and was used to that. Then I had to get used to 2.80 when I was converting things to Sims Medieval (There is a .simgeom addon that only works for 2.80). Then I had to get used to Blender 3.3. Then I had to get used to 4.0. Andrew needs to quit changing Studio requirements because I can't keep up! LOL. If I have to get used to another version of Blender I swear I will quit making things for TS4 (no, I won't). The Blender manual is useless to me. Blender needs to hire a good technical writer. I'd bet anything the developers are writing the manuals and there's a reason why developers don't get English degrees. They cannot write. But, you can, Mauvemorn. You write very well, and I am so glad. I rely on you a lot.
