hi if anyone could help me with this issue it would be greatly appreciated, so what i did was duplicate one of the curls (left) and flip it to the other side of the head but when i try merging the two curl layers together i get an issue where it looks like the inside verticies are removed just leaving an outline of the curl. i tried dragging and droppiuing a couple images from my desktop of the issue but for some bloody reason it wont upload them to this thread but yeah so anyways ive noticed that in ppls videos of mm hair meshing when they merge the two layers together both of the selected hair peices are a pale yellow however on mine theres always one thats outlined in orange and thats the one that has the visual issues. this has been s frustrating but yeah if anyone could help in the tiniest way i would be hugely greatful x

Hi. When you flip the mesh, back and front are flipped as well, so you need to flip normals to revert them back.
A surface has the front side where materials are displayed and the back side that appears transparent. To display materials on both sides in blender, you can disable Backface culling. This is why in videos you dont see this issue. However, whether it is enabled or disabled in blender has no effect on s4s or ts4, where CAS items are one-sided. Also, when you mirror something, you need to re-do everything beside vertex paint.
