I decided to change the age categories of some of my CC, because I noticed that some things were not displayed in CAS for teenagers and children, and I also changed the place of accessories in the CAS categories. But after editing the categories and ages for CC, they simply stopped being displayed in the game and started appear as red and white textures with a question mark, but some remain empty altogether. My stuff doesn't even show up in the S4S editor, but luckily I've been doing CC backups. I use blender version 4.1.1 and S4S version 3.2.1.7 (star) if this information is needed. Please help me, what should I do to change the CC categories/ages so that they work in the game and don't break? It's probably worth mentioning that after the CC backups are returned, everything works as before...

This is actually exactly what I did when the CC broke down after editing. My problem is how to edit the CC so that they DON'T BREAK after that and work in the game.

When cloning cc, the original package must be in both Ts4 and s4s mods folders to be displayed in both the game and s4s.
Teens share the same frame as adults, so all you need to do is enable Age-related flags in the original package, no need in cloning it. Do not forget to apply to all swatches.
How to convert things to children depends on what it is. If it is a texture-based item, you do the same thing as with teens. If it’s a mesh based item: - put the original package in both Mods folder; - restart s4s, filter the catalog by custom, Shift-click on one swatch to select all, Next, name something; - change Age category to child only and export the blend. It should come with a child’s rig; - select all parts of the mesh, switch to Edit mode, resize; - remove doubles and split sharp edges; - import back, do to all LODs;
If you’re still having problems, please provide specific files
