Hey! I've had this game for a few years and recently had to redownload it for some odd reason. It's been a while since I touched it so I'm getting used to all the new things but I can't see like anything on the bottom of my screen. The only thing that isn't broken is the clock and the sim's pictures. I don't know how to add screenshots here or if I even can so apologiessssss for thaaaaat but has this happened to anyone else??

If you have mods, have you updated them/tested with them removed? Have you checked your UI settings to make sure they fit your screen?

I removed a UI thing and it seems to be fixed  turns out I did just need to move some things around xp thanks for all your help!! |

So a couple things: 1. Take your whole mods folder out and delete your localthumbnailcache. If this solves it, you know it's a mod. 2. Hi! It sounds like a UI or graphical issue. Try checking your resolution settings, updating graphics drivers, or verifying game files. If these don’t help, consider reinstalling the game. I was running out of time to complete my dissertation and needed urgent help. I used academized.com/write-my-dissertation The writer was very professional and delivered an excellent dissertation on time. The quality was top-notch and helped me achieve a great grade. 3. Check what version of DirectX you're using. If you somehow got switched onto DirectX11 and you still have issues without mods, it's probably a Dx11 issue. Switch back to DX9 and it might fix it. Check these for help: simscommunity.info/2024/05/28/sims-4-directx-11-tutorial/ scarletsrealm.com/directx-11-and-the-mod-list-important-info-read/4. If you don't have it, download this mod: www.patreon.com/posts/99403318 . It might at least give you an idea of what the problem is. (If you don't have it yet, install this mod as well while you're at it: www.patreon.com/posts/modguard-mod-v1-98126153 ) 5. If it's not Dx11 then it's probably a mod. You'll have to try the old 50/50 test to figure out which mod it is. I know if you have a lot this can be annoying, so focus on anything that alters the UI, any core mods, any big ones. Update those: they're the ones that tend to break the most and cause the most issues when they do. Ideally you'll check everything is up-to-date eventually, but you should prioritize ones that effect gameplay over careers/traits/aspirations.
