Hi,
I made a hair in blender, but when I import the blend file, it doesn't overwrite the preexisting mesh in S4S. I followed a tutorial on hair meshing specifically for Sims 4, so I went through the process of forming UVs, weights, vertex paint, cuts, etc, but I think I must have done something wrong in the process. I've looked at some other threads with this issue, but the solutions I've read didn't work for me. Could anyone help me out with figuring out the issue? Thanks!

Hi. - clone ymHair_BuzzCut specifically, export the blend, open; - File - Append - yakumotest - Object - mesh.002 only, append; - in this order: select mesh.002, ctrl-select s4studio_mesh_1, in 3d view join with Ctrl J; - unrelated to this issue, but your hair is not vertex painted properly. Youd want to transfer it from a similarly shaped reference; - your object is too high poly to have hat chops, so leave it as is and import back into ymHair_BuzzCut
