Please, if possible, I suggest making a fix that removes all SlotRayIntersections settings (they are located in Geometry on the "warehouse" tab) for clothes, since they often break posing and animation and end up with the arms turned to the side. To fix this error, I manually delete all settings for each loaded item and then everything is fine. But, as you understand, this is a very long time, especially if you have a lot to do. I think this can be automated and it would be useful for many

Hi, Kenny McCormickSlotraysinteractions are necessary for an item to function as intended. You’re encountering this issue because what you import differs from what you started a package from. For example, if you’re making a full-body outfit, start a package from a full-body outfit, not a top. If this won’t help, share one example of a broken package

Oh, you misunderstood, it seems... I'm not creating a new one, I mean a ready-made thing from other different authors. Here's an example of what it looks like link

This is how things looked originally, this is not my content, this is a gorillax3sims4 set. I opened the top and bottom in the studio, then cleared the values in the "SlotRayIntersections" parameter and the hand position became normal (screenshots showing this link) This is a big problem, since almost all content from different authors does this, and my mods folder for cas is very large. I can't correct every other person's cc

For example, in Cas Tools there is a function to correct the Auto-Assign Calculated Slotrays (Arm Position), but it works if you open each file separately... I just wanted to suggest automating this function in Sims4Studio. The button is on the tab Clone Package Editor\Mesh Fixer Tools\Changes are applied to all meshes: Auto-Assignment

Could you try Tools - Modding - Fix slot rays and tell me if it works. Regardless of the result, could you share one example of a broken package so that Andrew could test?
The thing is that this issue is not common and it appears only when something is made incorrectly. The fact that it is common for you is unusual, do you happen to have a custom rig? Or download from a creator that uses CAS tools only? Or do all of these cc packages have transparency, for example?

I tried it and it got worse. The arms no longer stick out to the side, but go inside the character’s body. I have to say that I use luumiasims Height Slider and when the values are set to maximum or minimum height, some clothes start to behave like this. I checked the slider with maxis clothes and everything is fine there, no distortion.
Here's an example of how these pants were fixed using the method you said (link), I don't have screenshots of the before version, but it'll just keep in mind that the arms were tilted slightly to the side. This is a basic character that does not use sliders and his hands immediately look wrong after fixing.

These pants have no transparency. I also think that some cc could be broken for some reason, because this still does not apply to many. And perhaps I would have solved this if I downloaded the file again, but I found 500 of these packages and that’s quite a lot to search and download again.. In addition, there is a problem with dresses that have not been damaged, they initially have problems with the arms being shifted, perhaps the authors use some incorrectly configured originals from the game and bring this problem with them.

Here is a fix via CasTools ( link), as I wrote earlier and it also does not work correctly. You can notice this by using the height slider and making the character short, his arms will move slightly inside his body. At the same time, if you take off your jeans, vanilla underwear will be displayed, then your hands will fall into place as they should.

I found the original package, checked it in game and it works fine ( i dont have any other cc ).I dont see anything unusual about this package ( other than it has bones from the upper body, which is not a problem ). So it sound like this height slider is causing you problems. Could you confirm it by finding it and removing it from Mods folder? If that is indeed the case, try height sliders from other creators. If this wont work, could you please link to one ( that is causing problems )

This is what I'm talking about, some cc are broken in my folder, but if I download them again, the original file does not repeat the error even when I use the slider. So that's clearly not the problem. I know that you can download the files again and delete the broken ones, but this is a very large number of files, and the Sims4 Studio fix does not work correctly.

Andrew needs a broken example to know what he’s up against. Making a batch fix that just resets all slot rays interactions for everything indiscriminately can cause problems. Please share one package that is still broken straight from your mods folder.

Okay, here (https://lazyeyelids.tumblr.com/post/753727803565965312) is a recent set from which all the clothes make the hand to the side
This can be seen if you use this slider (https://luumiasims.com/post/687794763102126080/), set the height to a minimum
This also happens a lot with skirts and full-length suits (I've noticed more on dresses) But all other clothes work well with this slider. That's why I say that hand Slotrayinteractions may be wrong in some of the clothes that creators use as a basis
