I've more-or-less figured out how to alter a painting to have my own image it, and that's about it (hey, I started yesterday). But I'd love to have some wall art that has a somewhat shiny glass pane in front of it. Is this something that I can do just with Sims 4 Studio? I've noticed tutorials for making glass objects, but I don't know if that would work for a painting, and I don't know if I can use those tutorials to make a glass pane and then stick that on top of a painting.

Hi. Go into catalog and paste paintWallC1x1x1 into the search bar Thanks, but that's not quite what I want, since those are frameless.
As an idea of what I'm looking for, some of the art I hope to create as CC would be things like paper cutouts--stuff that should be in a deep-ish frame with with glass protecting it.

If theres nothing like what you want among maxis or cc items, make your own object and replace this one.

As I said, there are tutorials for recoloring objects so they look like they're made out of glass. Is that a thing I can do to a painting in Sims 4 Studio, to make it look as though it's covered in a glass pane, or do I need to learn how to use Blender?

I think "Let there be Plumbobs!" and the little elephant painting for kids both look like they have glass on them because of their specular.
