Hi im looking to code some mods, i have general knowledge of python so im specifically looking for a tutorial on creating a mod for sims 4 with python but am not having much luck. can anyone point me in the right direction?

It really depends on how hard you want to code directly against the EA code or whether you want to use a library. Libraries to make things more easy: * There S4CL which I use a lot as it is documented. Anyhow the author is bullied by some mod creators for things he did in the past. * There's also the lot51 library which is quite new. I tried to replace S4CL with it and failed due to missing features and documentation. * And there the even newer BBL Bluuberry Library which I didn't look at yet. In case you want code directly against the TS4 methods and write your own injection code to add your own injections take a look at these libraries as they may really help you to write your own code to handle buffs, traits, pie menus, popups etc. correctly. The starter project sims4studio.com/thread/15145/started-python-scripting for PyCharm is a little bit old. S4CL has a more recent template project with additional features. While you might also want to create XML snippets which are translated to Python objects and code during startup of TS4.
