Hello there.
I am reaching out because I am having some trouble with custom content (CC) in The Sims 4 and was hoping someone here might be able to help.
I have been an avid Sims player for years and recently started diving into the world of custom content. I downloaded some CC from various popular sites; and followed all the steps to install them. I placed the .package files in my Mods folder and made sure that both the Enable Custom Content and Mods and Script Mods Allowed"\ options are checked in my game settings. Although; for some reason; the CC just isn't showing up in my game.
Ensuring my game is updated to the latest version.
Deleting the localthumbcache.package file.
Checking for any conflicting mods.

Re-downloading and re-installing the CC.
Organizing my Mods folder to make sure there aren't too many subfolders.

Also, I have gone through this post: sims4studio.com/thread/12713/sims4studio-hide-ccsp-cas which definitely helped me out a lot.
Despite all these efforts, the CC still isn't appearing in my game. It's really frustrating because I've seen so many amazing creations from the community and I can't seem to enjoy them myself.
