I've just started with CC and I made a full nude female body by appending the nude bottom and top. I created a texture and laid it on the body. Now I get a floating head in CAS. What am I doing wrong? I also just signed up for a sims file share account but it's going to take a few days so I can't share the blender file or s4s packages yet.

You cannot delete meshes from the warehouse. Clone yfBody_LingerieCorsetLaceSides and simply import your textures there.

Thank you. I'll try that. But I deleted them because I kept getting the old meshes entangled in the mesh. The sequence of events that lead up to that: Built the mesh slightly different. I wanted a fabric stretched between the breast at first. Imported that mesh into S4S. Changed the direction after seeing the results did not meet my expectation and wanted to simplify my mesh work until I develop my blender skills adequately. Imported a "smooth" mesh that was just the naked form. The old mesh kept joining the smooth mesh. Removed the "offending" meshes via the warehouse.
How can I prevent this from happening if I make alterations to the mesh after I've imported to S4S?

Different items are split into different number of parts for different reasons. If you are starting a package from a full-body item made of 3 parts, your blend must also contain a full-body item split into 3 parts the same way. More about it here sims4studio.com/thread/13120/cut-numbers-easy-explanation
