Hi!
So I am extremely new to creating hair in the sims and have no former knowledge of 3D meshing of any kind up until recent.
Today I was working on creating a hair -- specifically a loc style and and I used procreate to create the the hairline and parting system. Once that was done, I imported the png into my S4S package file under "diffuse" as you would normally do your CC and saved the package as normal before moving it into my mods folder to see what it would look like on my actual sim. Everything looked great once loaded into the game and I was very happy with my parting system. After that, I tried to rip my sim on TheSimRipper and immediately when she loaded I noticed she was bald. That then led me to try and create a blend file from S4S with the generic sim avatar with my diffuse texture and I noticed the hair was still not showing up! Is there any reason as to why something like this might be happening? I'm thinking it may have something to do with the UV textures but I'm not for certain.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Kyra

Hi. The scalp is not a part of your hair’s mesh, it is just a part of the rig. The material with this texture is not applied to it.
So what you need is to expand the rig, select head_2, switch to Material tab, select the material, in the drop down choose a different one
