Today I created a pinboard with many Postcards slots. Later I adjusted only one slot and then ALL 50 postcard slots had lost their rotated position. Now they all point in only one straight direction. Why is this happening? Is this a studio bug? If not, is there a way to prevent this from happening?

I just made a fridge for testing purposes, added postcard slots in front of the door, adjusted only the bind_doors positon and deco slots height on top of the fridge and ALL postcard slots lost their rotated function. So it looks like no matter what you edit after adding rotated deco slots or postcards slots to any object. If you edit any rig, they will be affected. I will send you a copy of the just created fridge with rotated postcard slots on the front door via PM. Just edit anything you wish on it, deco slots on top or bind door position, and you wil see the postcard slots will lose their rotation. In the past I have already posted a similar issue with angled deco slots on a counter object, but never received any reply. Same issue. Download Link to fridge is sent to you. Thank you

I also want to mention that the same thing happend to a closet with shoe shelves from RAVASHEEN. She added regular deco slots in an angled positon to 5 angled shoe shelves and after I downloaded it, I just adjusted the position of a few large deco slots and added a few more on top of the clostet and all the UNTOUCHED 5 angled deco slots reverted into a straight position. I then had to open the rig text file to copy the absolut transform numbers from each angled deco slot to re-add into the ContainerSlots Transform section. - Thank god there were only 5 slots to fix

I did another testing version with a different fridge. I added 40 postcard slots in rotated directions. Tested in game and all were fine. Then back into Studio to add 30 more. Back into game for testing. The newly added are all fine but the first 40 have lost their rotated direction. They now face into a straight direction only. Problem, in the rig text file the "AbsolutTransform" numbers are not useable to re-add into the ContainerSlots/Transform section because the numbers showing in the rig text file are identical.
Example: slot postcard_9 shows 1,0,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,0,1,0,0.047543697,1.704073,0.3449576,1 It should be: 0.994929,-0.100577,0,0,0.100577,0.994929,0,0,0,0,0.9999999,0,-0.08559135,1.704073,0.3449575,1 (you can test this with the fridge I sent to you because the data are the same) The only way I can re-add those lost numer lines is from a fridge copy I thankfully saved. And even the ones that are working corectly are not listed corectly. Unlike with regular deco slots rotated or angled, it looks like Studio does not memorize the data in the rig text file first added when it comes to rotatated postcard slots.

Hi S4Player, Which method did you use to rotate the slots? Usually, the slots have a corresponding bone that represents their position and rotation. Studio's rig/slots tab works primarily with the rig and copies the changes to the slot and model when changes are made. In your package, the bones in the rig are not rotated but the associated slot is, so when studio tries to sync changes from the rig to the slot, the rotation is getting cleared out. I think I can make a change to copy rotations from the slot to the rig when the package is first loaded so that future edits to the rig on the Studio tab start out in sync with the slot. Wishes excluded rotations when syncing rig -> slot because the Studio tab did not have the option to rotate. Now that it does, the rig rotation is expected to be correct.

Sorry for the late reply, but since we do not get any email notifications I have missed your post. Not on here every day To answer your question, I just copied the rig/slots from a CC fridge created by ATS4 and just arranged them to fit on my CC fridge. I then just copied a few more and changed height. Everything worked out fine. But once everything was done closing Studio, on package reload to change the position on a few, and to delete a few unwanted, that's when all rotations got lost. Maybe Sandy created those rotations with TSR Workshop?
Side note: The email notification system doesn't seem to work. I have most everything ticked and set to instant but never get anything. I only get a weekly notification on "New threads are created" even though this and "New Post" are NOT ticked lol.

Hi S4Player, If the creator used another tool like TSRW or manually did rotations directly in the slot, that could explain it. I'll make a change so S4S updates the rig resource to match any slot-only rotations before using the rig values to override the slot when a change is made. I'll check my notification settings. I thought I had it set up that way too, but I don't get a lot of emails either. Mostly just post summaries and I have to check my notifications on the site. Maybe something that our forum host can help with.

About the e-mail notifications, I had my settings like that ever since I joined and NEVER got any on said ticked notifications. It's strange that I do get mails on the unticked ones though and not the ones that I care for.

Hi andrew - Just want to say Thank You Very Much ♥ for fixing the rotation slot issue in the latest Studio update. I just tested with my test fridge and it works like a charm. No more reverting after editing

Hi andrew - When I posted that the issue was solved I did not realize something. They do not revert rotation but something else is now happening. I edited a few postcard slot positions by moving some of them more up or down, or more to the right away from the fridge door handle and then clicked save. Studio said the package was saved. On reopening I just saw that they are back to their old position. In other words, the changes I made did not save. I tried to redo it several times, but studio does not save the changes.

Hi S4Player , I tried editing the package you sent in 3.2.2.5, and my changes are being saved and stay when I re-open the package. Can you tell me the exact steps you are taking that cause it to not save?

Thank you for getting back with me. That it works for you is really strange because I did the same thing as you and even tried to lower a few which did not save for me. That is why I went back to the previous version 3.2.2.4 and did the same thing again which then was saved. Maybe there is a random glitch somewhere in v. 3.2.2.5? I will re-download the 3.2.2.5 version and try again.
