Hello, I would like some help on creating animation please. As some people know, Prop objects are not classic accessories. I will take the example of The Sims™ 4 Jungle Adventure Game Pack. I take the example of the machete to clear the path covered with vines. In the sims 4 studio the machete is a simple object with its rig etc... And when the animation "clear the path with the machete" is played in game. This machete is placed directly in the hand of the sims thanks to the ASM file. I can perfectly create this kind of animation. But I have to tinker in Blender to hope that the object is placed in the right place because I can't visualize it when I create the blender animation. Is there a way that when we start creating an animation with a position prop the object directly has the position it will take when the object is played in the game? So in this case, the sims hand. The ASM says to take the object, the animation clip says to take the object... But in blender it is impossible to link the two meshes to create renderings more simply when creating the animation. Indeed, it is enough that the 3d of the machete object is slightly larger for example so that the fingers of the Sims go through the object or that the machete enters his head during the animation. Is there a way in BLENDER to take the machete or any other Prop object and position it directly in the correct location to start a new animation?
Could you help me please ? Best Regards Serinion
