Hi, I've been working on this hooded top. (SEE IMAGE LINK, marked as nsfw for side boob lol) I want to avoid having to upload it as a hat. The second image is how it looks in game - how can I make the hood show over top the hair? I've tried turning the hood part as a second cut as shown in the 3rd image and I still got the same result. I provided the package file of the mesh as 1 cut. (images) (package file) edit: i was looking through files and i see the answer lies in the exclude part tags. but im unsure how to make it so only part of the hair isnt shown

Hi, if you want to completely hide the hair fill in ExcludePartFlags with 0000000000000004. You can check the Exclude Part list hereIf you want to hide only some part of the hair you can only follow the hat chop from EA, other than those 2 I don't think you can If you want some hair to go with your hood either you edit the shape of the hood to match 1 of the hat chop or you model a custom hair to go with the hood. Hope that helps.

BokchoiJo - thank you! So since I want to go with slanted chop - should I separate the actual hood part of the mesh like i did originally, change the cut number, and leave exclude part tags alone?

If you want to use the "slanted" chop you have to make the item into a hat, so start a new package from a hat that uses the "slanted" chop. You only need 1 cut for the mesh so leave the cut number on the hood as 0000, the cut number in the image is only for the hair CC to know what hair chop is used with what hat. Leave the exclude part as default.
But be aware that if you decide to make it like this the bangs would look correct but the back part of most hair would poke out of the hood.
