Im doing my first bottom recolor ever using the Sims 4 Studio. Its a skirt that only has 3 colors and I wanted more colors for it. The first time the mesh wasn't attached so i realized I need to add to the existing form instead of a standalone edit. But when I added my swatches, saved it, put it into my folder, and went into the game, each color was the same as the thumbnail which was this pretty 3 color. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I've tried looking for a tutorial but it says I don't have permission to view that thread. Am I missing a step????

How to do that: - put the original package in both the sims 4 and sims 4 studio Mods folders; - restart s4s if opened; - choose Create CAS standalone and click on CAS; - Filter the catalog by Custom, select one swatch of the item you want to clone, click Next, save in TS4 Mods folder; - export a diffuse image, modify in the image editor, import back. Add new swatches, replace each diffuse; - right now this recolor requires the original package to function in-game( the original must be in TS4 Mods folder as well). If you want to make it truly standalone, Tools - Modding - Embed externally referenced resources.
