Hi
Need help with this heart necklace that came with the Eco pack - NecklaceEP12HeartBeads.
Can anyone tell/show me how to make these pearls smaller in Blender? I don't want to make the whole necklace smaller, just the beads themselves, because I think the beads are just a tad too big. The necklace should remain the same size around the kneck, but the beads should be a tad smaller. Is there a less complicated way to achieve this? I use Blender 2.78.

Hi. They are not joined together, so if you were to shrink them ( Alt S ), there would be gaps

Oh, you're right. I hadn't even considered that. What if you fill the gaps with a copied pearl? I suppose I can cancel this idea. Did you notice that EA forgot to tag the male necklace properly? No age appropriate, no ocult, no fashion choice, no color, no outfit type, fabric, none. And the female one is tagged for toddler lol.
I made some recolors for both genders a while back, but thought that the pearls for male are just too big. Guess I have to live with it.

I just noticed that with the female necklace, when you pull down the chest, the heart will show a spike as shown in the picture. Does that mean that it lags of proper weight? I checked the vertex paint and all is painted ok as far as I could see.
Chest normal
Chest pulled down

What if you fill the gaps with a copied pearl?
That would take a lot of time + youd need to re-transfer weights and uv_1 after that
To fix that distortion, switch to uv_1, select the whole heart, UVs - Merge - By distance, change the value to 0.0004. See the remaining unmerged vertices? Select just them on both sides, merge again with 0.005

Thanks for trying to help. I switch to uv_1, selected the whole heart, clicked on the UVs tab in the bottom line window to the left, (using blender 2.78) and do not see anything with "Merge - By distance".

Sorry, forgot about that. UV - Weld/Remove doubles - Remove doubles, the pop up will be in the corner to the right-hand side, if you do not see it, put your cursor in 3d view and press T

Yes, by default it is set to a very high value for some reason, so first to 0.004, then to 0.005

Ok, so done everything as you said, checked back in CAS, pulled her chest down, spiky part remain. Now I'm really giving up. Guess the necklace can only be worn by sims with higher chests/boobs. Elders, for example can NOT wear it at all. It looks all messed up on them, sadly. I wish that EA would get in gear and fix the crooked necklace issue we have since years.

Yes, pulled down the chest to the max. Make sure your file is being updated or move that vertex lower
