I don't know why my clothes are clipping through the sims bodies. They do transform, but still clip. I transfered the mesh data like all the tutorials said to do, and I'm still having this problem so clearly I'm missing something. I'm very new to sims cc creation, so if there's a "for dummies" or a video tutorial, that'd very helpful. Because I cant figure out how to upload files or photos onto here either, have a drive link with the mod and a photo of what I'm dealing with. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xvMsz4SdU2zQVnt460ZKP6CCTKvmgJXp

Hi. There are a few causes: - maxis meshes are low poly, hardly ever go past 10k tris, the game is made with that in mind. Your garment has a very dense wireframe, which will react to every artifact on a dmap, every whiff of a bone during weight transfer. I'd suggest to go back to the program you made it in and increase particle distance, you need to remake most of the things anyway; - for the garment to move and morph like an area of the body it covers, it must receive all data responsible for these processes from that area. So your reference should match your garment in length, can be a bit longer but not shorter; - this data must be sampled from nearby faces, not nearby vertices, so you change Mapping from the default to Nearest face interpolated; - all areas of the upper body covered by clothing must be deleted. This will not only prevent clipping but free up some uv space. Speaking of, you have uv in the space meant for shoes Without a blend file, i cannot tell what version of blender a person is using to give accurate instructions.I'm going to assume its 2.7x, if not, tell me:

Because I am still learning, what if had transparent clothes, like a sheer shirt, and could delete the body underneath?
and yeah, I do use 2.79. Sorry

If the shirt is tight, you do it the maxis way and unwrap it where corresponding areas of the body are. If it is not tight, then it should be far enough from the body for them to not clip into each other. More about it here
