Okaii so before I get into the help request I would like to explain my end goal here.
There is a mod called “Controlled position mod” by NorthernSiberiaWinds linked here( www.patreon.com/posts/controlled-mod-2-103628223 )
where the sim is stuck in a still position for the duration of creation. What I am attempting to do is to replace the specific pose that the sim is stuck in with any of the other poses that I've downloaded from other posepacks. In other words I'd like to make the standstill pose interchangeable.
Once I have figured out how to do this I plan on making a tutorial video so that other people can also follow along and do this if they so please, but in the meantime I'm still trying to figure it out for myself.
I have a set of steps that I'm attempting to follow through that i believe I would be capable of completing myself but if I do need help I will come back to this thread. The steps go as followed:
Step1:Find a pose id like to use
Step2:Open the pose with sims for studio and extract as a blender file
Step3:Open the pose with blender & save the individual pose by itself as a blender file
Step4:Open the Controlled position mod with sims4studio
Step5:Import the pose in place of the current standstill pose
Step6:Save the package & place in “Mods” folder
& Step7:Open CAS and check to make sure everything is working properly
So essentially where I'm at right now is I was capable of extracting the pose from a CAS posepack that I downloaded and opening the pose in blender however I realized that most poses that you download for CAS have multiple poses within them. I need help figuring out how to delete all of the other poses in the timeline except for the one pose that I would like to keep. Any other tips regarding things I should double check with my pose before I save it as a blender file are greatly appreciated for instance the duration or general knowledge i should keep in mind while using blender.
