- in this case, you do not need to modify anything about how the mesh works in-game; - when selecting the mesh, do this carefully, so that no stray vertices remain; - when deleting something, you're left with a hole, which needs to be filled; - Mirror modifier duplicates and flips the mesh. Before you do this, delete eyelashes from one side of the body. How to do what you have in mind: - it seems like blender path in s4s settings does not lead to the version of blender you're working in, so if this is the case, change it to blender.exe in the installation folder of the version of blender you're working in, so long it is supported; - clone eyelashes, export the blend, open; - in the uv editor enable sync, click and drag to select uvs of tips of eyelashes; - in 3d view press Delete, choose Faces, - this will leave you with holes. In the uv editor select uvs where deleted faces used to connect to, in 3d view pres F to fill them; - add Edge split modifier and apply it; - save, import back into the same package. No need to re-do anything about adaptation or mirror
