I'm trying to make a relatively simple mod. I want to change the thumbnail images in the inventory for the frogs. I want to add custom images that show each frog better.
Now I managed to make a mod that changes the thumbnail image, however it only changes the thumbnail in the build/buy catalog (which is pretty useless, since frogs are debug/hidden items) and not in the inventory. I removed localthumbcache.package, but that doesn't solve it.
This is what I did:
- Using Sims 4 Studio, i choose Object>Override
- I select the Leaf Frog from the debug objects.
- I import a new Catalog Thumbnail and save.
- I remove the localthumbcache.package from the Electronic Arts/Sims 4/
- I open the game. The leaf frog now has my new thumbnail image in the build/buy catalog.
- However, when a Sim picks it up, it still has the default image in the inventory.
Am I missing something? Are the inventory thumbnails stored in a different location?
