Multiple Swatches in 1 .png

Hi, I'm trying to make a runner rug with multiple textures like the victorian runner rug in the vampire pack.

the pack uses the same .png file for both the centre and the end of the rug, I want my rug to have more than 2 swatches on 1 .png on 1 object, how would I go about doing this?

(obligitory new here so not sure if this is the right location to post)
