Hello!
Just started out and I couldn't be happier that I found a way to fix the horrific in-game textures and colors of the crystals! But, for some reason, if I select one crystal, change the texture/color and add that package-file to my mods, it either pastes that texture onto all crystals of the same mesh, or makes them all a different color.
For example, I made the amethyst crystal a better shade of lilac, saved it and added it to the mods folder, started the game to see that the amethyst looks amazing now! But the hematite is now also lilac, and all other crystals of the smaller mesh are red.
The crystals of the larger mesh works better - if I have a override recolor of the crystal it shows up correctly, but if I don't have one, the unedited crystals inherits one of my override recolors.
Am I selecting the wrong sort of file? Should it be standalone recolors? Selective clones? Or does any of you have other ideas/solutions to this issue?
Thanks in advance!

mysticora - it looks as though each gemstone is a different object, so would you please describe exactly how you created the override? You might provide the .package file too for reference.

helaene Well, I selected the radio button for Object Override, find the crystal I wanted to change (first out was Amethyst), created the package file, and then in the Texture tab in the studio, I exported the pngs, changed them in gimp and then imported the new pngs. Didn't change anything else in any other tabs in the studio. Saved the file, and dragged it into the mods folder. Not sure how to add files here though, any suggestions on how to share it?

helaene I hope this format is correct. drive.google.com/drive/folders/150ehYNJpf7H7VLY39aJKO52Ceqlrxp5f?usp=sharingOpened the game a while ago, just to see that both sizes of crystals are now behaving the same: the ones that have recolors have the same texture, the ones that don't show up in a completely different color. I'll keep reading and experimenting but if anyone has any ideas, that would be magical. Thanks!

mysticora thanks for providing more details... the method you describe is exactly how I would've tried it too. I'll try to do some more testing and see if I come up with any answers.
