A friend of mine would like to start to make some CC but got Windows 10 and cant install the dds plugins in Gimp or Photoshop. I do not have windows 10 myself so I dont know how to do it. Can anybody help?

What kind of photoshop is your friend using? Which version? (Thought for Photoshop CC it doesn't work)
And maybe he or she has to enable Photoshop to find the plug-in. Go to Edit, Preferences, Plug-ins. Click to enable the checkmark for Additional Plug-ins, then use the Choose button to find the folder where you put the plug-in. Click OK when that is done. The next time you start Photoshop it should be able to recognize the DDS files.
Also you can try to copy the dds.8bi file to both the normal Program Files and the (86x)
This is the place where my dds.8bi file is placed: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins\File Formats

I am using Sims 4 Studio and gimp but not photoshop.I am also trying to get dds for creating cc but when I try to create an account it doesn't do anything.Can someone help?

I don't use gimp but I believe you need to install its dds plugin: registry.gimp.org/node/70I'm not sure what you mean by creating an account.. where exactly? |
