Portraits by James VanDerZee in the Cleveland Museum of Art
American photographer James VanDerZee worked in Harlem, New York for most of the twentieth century. His photographs highlight not only the dignity and beauty he saw in his clientele, but also their aspirations. Most of his photographs were of African Americans, but he worked with people of all backgrounds. The frame is a recolor of Blewis50 of yet another recolor and conversion from TS2. The photographs are all in the Cleveland Museum of Art.

This was my very first cc, made following LexiconLuther's tutorial on how to replace the image in a painting. It's eight rococo period paintings from the Cleveland Museum of Art. I was inspired by weeberry's work.

I was inspired by Katai's Open Aloha Shirt at ModTheSims. What I really wanted to do was made their shirt an accessory, but I didn't know how to fix the clipping. So instead I made two of the EA T-shirts into accessory shirts and put them in one file. Thanks again to LexiconLuther; I used her tutorial on making shirts into accessories. This should be base game compatible.

Three tartan pencil skirts. From left to right: Blackwatch, MacLean of Duart, and Boyd. There are multiple "official" versions of all of these; I picked some of the brightest. MacLean of Duart and Boyd are both family tartans.

Inquisitive: **I designed this trait for the Sim version of one of my cats.“ Inquisitive sims are always wanting to try something new. They gain energy quickly and lose it slowly, and they are naturally playful. If I had the Romantic Garden Stuff pack, they would have a lot of whims to make a wish; as it is, they want to try things like eating bugs and unidentified plant life. Because I based this trait on my real-life cat Viktor Borge, Inquisitive Sims also get whims to play the piano, just like he does.

FraidySim: **I designed this trait for the Sim version of one of my cats. She was once wild, and she is still very shy around people and even other cats.** FraidySIms are shy and nervous; they feel tense a lot of the time because they always expect something bad to happen. They get embarrassed easily in conversation, but they long to make friends and be more confident. It takes a while to earn their trust, but once that trust is earned they are very loyal to the few friends they have. Whims include things like “hide from everyone”, “call sadness hotline”, “become confident” and “make a friend”.
