Skin swatches not working in game!

I'm gonna start this off by saying this is my first time ever even attempting to make custom content for any of the sims games. I'm currently trying to edit a skin and things are not working and its really confusing me. I took a skin made by someone else (MILK Skin is what it's called I think) because I wanted to edit some of the aspects of it. I opened it up in Sims 4 Studio (sugar version) and exported the png. I then opened the png up in photoshop and started changing the things I wanted. After a while, I ended up overlapping it with another skin I'm really fond of to change the legs completely and help soften out the face. After this was all finished I saved it as a png, opened up the original skin in s4s and imported the png in the warehouse tab. After many adjustments and me going in game countless times to check on how things were looking, I finally finished it. I then decided I wanted to have a version of it for asian sims, and made 2 more versions for variety. I tried saving the other variations as their own package files and placing them into the mods folder, but when I went into cas, only one showed up in skin details. I tried to fix this by opening up the first version and then adding the other two as swatches but they still don't work. It shows the 3 swatches in the game, but they all look like the first one. When I click the second two they don't look like the asian versions I added. I'm absolutely positive the skins I added to each swatch are the right ones. I've checked more than a few times. Oh, and I changed the thumbnail, but it shows up as the original one in cas. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong and how I can get the other two to work?

Also, sorry if this has already been asked and solved anywhere. I searched for "skin" and went through most the topics so I hope I didn't miss any! And sorry for this post being so wordy, I tried to explain every single step I took in case it mattered. Thanks to anyone who responds!
