Hi all! How can I add extra group of materials to a package correctly? For example this object (could be easily found by typing 2314): 1. It has two lines for model with all 0's - Model and Model LOD. Both have information about groups. Which of them I need to choose for editing? Or both lines should be edited? 2. When I make a copy of Phong group (at any line) I can't change shader in a new group. Seems, both groups are linked and if I edit one - another group applies changes too. How to separate it?

Hi ssolny, Studio is not yet able to add new groups of materials and have the data added correctly. If you want an item with more than one material group you need to clone an item with more than one material group.

Hi orangemittens! Thx for answer. It's pity, but I hope this feature will be added in future =) And I have next question then: is it possible to remove unnecessary LODs from package without causing any problem?

No you should not remove and LODs it could cause problems. There will be a way to do so safely in the future. There is no eta on it as of now.

Not sure I understand you. There is only one mesh group with a drop shadow group. The other LOD is the medium LOD. What you see when zoomed out.
Are you trying to make the whole thing transparent?

Ok, I'll try to explain. =) Yes, I want to add AlphaBlended to the object. I go: variant I
1. Model (all 0's)=> 2. Lods: Edit items... => 3+. High/mediumDetail Flags => 4. Meshes: Edit items... => 5. Phong => 6 .Entries: Edit items... => 7+. there are 4 positions for normal/burn swatch at the left frame and each of them have => 8. Items: Edit items... there I get this list, like step 10 in tutorial But! If i go variant II1. Model LOD (all 0's)=> 2. Meshes: Edit items... => 3. Phong => 4. Entries: Edit items... => 5+. there are 4 positions at the left frame too => Items: Edit items... and the same list like on picture So, i have two variants to access that list. Plus divarication in var. I at steps 3 and 7. Plus divarication in var.II at step 5. Where exactly I should make changes to add transparency for the object?

There is already an alpha setting for that mesh. You dont need to change anything.

Hm.. I don't see AlphaBlended string how it shonw in tutorial... Which string is responsible of it? Transparency?
