hello i want to do recolors but as i learnt i need bumpmaps or something else for what i want. Here is my screen The armchair has wrinkles. If i just recolor it i cant have them. I have it platty. What should i do to get that map?

You are referring to the normal maps, yes? I do mine following this tutorial and it worked nicely: sims4studio.com/thread/861/normal-maps-bump-editing-creatingI use GIMP and they have the info about gimp down the page a bit. Hope that helps! Otherwise you can also just put a blank normal map too which you can download somewhere on the forums but I'm not sure where...

I agree with eronoel. You may also want to bake a shadow onto your textures to make it look more real. If you're interested in looking into that there is a tutorial HERE that shows how. Since you already have a mesh that you're ready to import to Studio you could click into Edit mode and start at step 6. If you give it a try and run into questions please feel welcome to post them in the tutorial thread or in this one
