TV STUDIO SET :)

kieron88j, I love the lighting you placed as it makes the photo have a real sense of atmosphere. Hi by the way I would love to see how you would put together a crime scene if you ever had the inclination. Thank you for sharing your photos with us.

I really like the lighting outside and inside the jail cell, your super talented! You show how much weight lighting has in a setting as it gives depth and mood to scene. Love it!

Thanks for your comments everyone means a lot - i've updated some pics under the jail pics with some really cool studio lighting created by asyli. makes the tv.movie studio more realistic. I;ve added a new set i'm working on too; the Apartment lobby & Starbucks coffee shop! Enjoy.

hey all, so since I first published this post and showed you pictures of the apartment set (Scroll to the very first post) a few times I've thought about deleting it all and making a new set of scratch but I've enjoyed seeing the set grow and change,  I have tweaked the set so much and added loads of little cool backstage things as well as revamped the entire apartment but keeping the same overall layout (in terms of hall way to the left of apartment) anyhoo! I thought id share some updated pictures.. hope you like


here is a view of the new improved hallway, it's had a total revamp. to the right side is the orginal apartment which too has had a face lift!


Here is a wide shot of the hallway and the apartment.. since the first pictures I've added a partition wall between the kitchen and living room and taken away the stairs (I mean who could afford a duplex apartment in NYC!)


Here's an elevated view of the set. As you can tell a lot has changed and upgraded since the first lot of pictures... Ive added gangways and curtains to block all the technical elements in.


Hey! an orginal feature! the windows!! - obviously I had to keep them! but you may also see technically the location has changed with the backdrop! oops! it's ok no one will notice that big change from season 1 will they?... I love the décor in this room and the simplicity! 


hope you like the new and improved original apartment set! no doubt it will grow, change and adapt more as I find new objects. but also hope you found a few familiar objects which I've kept in since the first pictures!
