Hello, recently I've been working on some CC edits for the history challenge. I have a robe that would work much better as a full body outfit, but is currently classified as top only. How should I go about this? Quick edit, I also distorted the body's mesh by accident when I was editing the outfit. How can I fix the quadruple hand problem?

To change the category to full body outfit you need to go under the label "Categories" --> "Outfit type" --> and change it to "Clothing Body". I don't know about the 4 hands problem but maybe you could post the blender file and someone could take a look.

Thanks for replying. I did try to change the outfit type, but in-game the legs were missing. I'm not sure what proper procedure to add them is.

Hi lizalot, this project will require you to make the garment into a full body garment as you've said. Full body outfits include leg meshes. There is no tutorial specifically on turning a top into a full body garment but the techniques and concepts you need to know are summed up in MisterS's shorten a mesh tutorial and Untraditionalnerd's frankenmeshing tutorial. Also, as mathcope has pointed out it looks like you have two full copies of your mesh as illustrated by the doubling of the hands on both sides. Before you finish your project you should be sure to get rid of one of the copies.

Thank you, I'll check those out and come back if I have more trouble. In-game the model has the right number of extremities, but it's slightly distorted. It's most noticable when clipping through bracelets, which you can kind of see in these two shots (the first is still in the Top catagory)
