You shouldn't have any issues, if your mesh is lying down, then your object will be lying down, regardless of what you cloned from. You'd just need to remove/edit the light source (so your wood isn't emitting light), and if it was a table lamp you cloned off of, make it so it doesn't go on top of surfaces.

It will still be a light though, you need to change its tuning id, or delete the light source like j said.

In Object definition - tuning id yours say
Tuning - Yunanesca:object_plant_non_gardening_generic3222016 TuningId - 9851854075389472959
I got the tuning id from the first plant the shows up when I typed in tree, it looks like this
object_plant_non_gardening_generic 77475
You can get your own so you know what I mean, but that one will work. But substitute them ones for you wood ones.
Give it name and description and a price so it does not think its a debug item or summit stupid.

May I ask why you chose to clone off of the OR lamp? I'm not 100% sure of this, but I was under impression if you clone off of a stuff/expansion pack item, your CC will also need that stuff/expansion pack, so if that's true, you're unnecessarily making your object require OR. You then have the hassle of trying to change the light source, too. And judging by the object name, you've cloned a Debug item? To me it makes more sense to clone off of...a basegame floor plant or something. I cloned off of a basegame potted palm tree and tweaked your mesh so it fits (meaning I've added a drop shadow mesh in there). You're more than welcome to use it if you choose to re-clone. That way you won't need to worry about tuning, lighting and so on. www.mediafire.com/download/z8sbqhpudtzyxtd/new+wood.blend

MisterS yes it says that I change the name likd it said in OM's tuning tutorial link so basicaly tuned the wrong item but something more simular to the Items i was tuning to? so like since the light post longer and I turned it to being some on the ground instead. and yes I did use a plant thing ok this on the ground but for got to think of the price if that migth of had any thing to do with it at the time. i'll try that . j yes I cloned a light post "decoGP01_lightCampground_01" It's really the only thing other that the wooden post that can look like a stack of wood for constuction side like the building of a house or building. such as mine here: I'm trying to make a construction site for my story and though may be but some board in laying on the ground and the decoGP01_lightCampground_01 closet's thing I could get to stacked wood since we don't have columns in the Studio yet. or I would have used one of those this would be my whole reasoning behind all this. and TY j and MisterS I still have some editing to do to the mesh so I'll try again to get tuning correct again and ty I'll have look at your to. I'm sure i'll be back lol

All I'm saying is you don't need to stick to the item just because you want to use parts of its mesh. So yes, you meshed your pile of wood object from the light, but now you can clone off of something closer to what you want your final product to be (a stationary decorative object) to save yourself the effort of having to do too much editing.
If you clone off of a floor plant and import the mesh I provided, your object will work perfectly fine, and you won't need to worry about the tuning or the light. Your object will also be basegame-compatible.
There's nothing wrong with the way you're trying to do it, you're just making things harder for yourself.
