Like I said before, if this shader isn't giving the effect you want the only other thing I can think of that might is a lamp. If there is an item in the game you know of that does what you're looking for that isn't a lamp and doesn't use the neon light shader then you should clone that.

Hi blade, that link is taking me to a page that allows me to download filedropper installation files but I cannot find your download on the page. Could you upload it to something like One Drive or Dropbox or some other site where the download will be available?

You need to change this field so the last two digits are 80:

Hi blade, this item is using an Instanced shader and it has shader data that is referencing a LightMap texture: It also has vertex paint that I believe determines where light brightens the object at night: Interestingly enough the item also has an emission map referenced from the shader which may function like the CAS emission map. If you want to experiment with this item you should vertex paint your item this same orange color in the areas of the mesh that you want to light up. You should also edit the emission map to match your item. I've never worked with an item like this except in CAS but that's what I would do for a start to see how it worked in the game.

dumb sim still use as mirror where the interaction string to edit?

The easiest way to get the Sim to stop using the item as a mirror is to change the tuning name and tuning ID so the item uses the tuning from some other kind of item. If you're making an endtable you could use end table tuning and if it's a wall deco item you could use tuning from a painting. These fields are in the Object Definition resource and there is a tutorial in the Build/Buy/Tuning section that shows an illustration of where to find them HERE.

You're welcome...I'm glad you got a result you're happy with. Have you tried reducing the mirror mesh group to a single triangle, shrinking it, and hiding it inside the other mesh group? That would be one way of making it so the mirror doesn't pop into view when the wall is down.
