It happened to me as well, and I just checked again that my mesh and the shadow that goes with it is on the same height as the ea one. When I imported my mesh again, it was perfect. Hope it helps.

If you are using the automatic design tool editing feature this will happen if you have stray vertices below the 0 line in Blender for items that are meant to sit on the floor. This occurs because Studio is using the vertices of your main mesh (it ignores the shadow plane mesh) to fill in the relevant fields in the footprint resource. If there are vertices below the 0 line in Blender for a floor item like a couch the numbers Studio gets from those vertices tell the game the item is embedded in the floor. The game does not allow items to be embedded in the floor without the MOO cheat on.
The way to fix this is to be sure that when you are creating a floor item all the vertices of the mesh are at or above the 0 line in Blender. If, for whatever reason, you want vertices below the 0 line for a floor item then you should remove the check mark from the automatic design tool editor box in Studio. This will result in the design tool retaining its original position. If you want to move it to a more desirable location you can edit the field manually in the Warehouse.

1) That feature is amazing, by the way. I had no idea it worked like that 2) fixed! The loveseat legs were embedded in the floor for some reason. Thank you!

You're welcome. I think a lot of people did not know this so I updated the documentation for this feature just a couple days ago to make this more clear. I think most people that read the documentation did so before I updated it unfortunately...I should probably put out a post about it so others don't run into the same issue.
