How are you today? sorry for my bad english, but i hope i can help you why don't you try to recolor without the mesh? here that is a awesome tutorial! if you want to include the mesh, just export the original mesh to blender and then import this blender into a new package again. If I were you, I would recolors without the mesh. Because creators have their TOU.

I cannot have more then 1 version of the same dress in the game. So I would have to include the mesh for mine to even work. But I am wondering if there is anyway to fix that.

Hi midnightskysims, this dress .package itself has an abnormality that you need to account for when making a recolor of it. I showed someone else how to do that and the post is HERE.

You need to make sure you're putting all 8 characters into the field. If there are less than 8 characters Studio will fill in the empty spaces with 0 so that there are 8 characters in the field. Copy and paste this: BA856C78 into the Type field as shown in my post I linked and that should do it
