I am creating a futon style cushion for a bed frame that will be used a sofa and I am wondering how I can rotate the slots so sims will sit back to back while on the other side of the futon. Does simply moving the butt and feet slots to the other side accomplish this or will they for example have their feet being pulled backwards while they sit facing forward?

Can't say I have experience working with seating slots. I tried changing dining chair slots on a table and that was extremely painful and not entirely successful. I suppose you should just give it a shot. If you've got roots, that's what you're misplacing/rotating primarily. I don't think you should see any dragging unless your root and a slot for something else are way too far apart (for instance I encountered a wonky arm while testing my table because the food placement slot was too far away from the chair).

okay, I can most definitely give it a try. I just figured the slots would move but not actually rotate directions. I'll post back with results.

Though I've never done it, I think moving the foot slots would accomplish what you want. There is, however, an easier way to do it: clone one of those ottomans? (I don't know what to call it) that the sims sit on back to back, copy the rig and slots and replace the rig and slots on your object. Save the package, reopen it, and adjust the slots to fit your object.
