How to make a Pool Water RecolorHello! First of all, if you prefer a written tutorial about the basics of making a Pool Water Recolor, then take a look at the tutorial Orangemittens wrote: Custom Tinted Pool Water RecolorIf you want to learn the basics and a tiny bit more like changing the shimmer on top of the watersurface and making the water stop moving, then take a look at my video tutorial. Additional note:As I'm used to use dds files, I sometimes forgot to use png files instead. So if you're going to export the diffuse file, you can also save as png. In photoshop you need to Ctrl+Left Mousebutton click the layer to select all the bits of shimmer and then follow the rest of the tutorial about picking a color for your shimmer to use. When you got the color you want to use, press Alt+Delete to fill the selection with your new color. After that, save as png and import in Studio. If you got any questions about it, please ask them here in this topic or in the comment section on Youtube. I got a lot more tutorials on my youtube channel and there're going to be many more. So if you don't want to miss them, please subscribe! If you want to have an overview of all The Sims 4 Tutorials I made on my Youtube Channel, please take a look at my BakieGaming Video Index here on the Forum. You will find links to all tutorials here on the forum and links to all tutorials that aren't on this forum in there.

Great video Bakie I've watched this 4 times to gain some insight into how the water moves. I can't replicate the effect in the fish tanks but this video has shown me parts of the warehouse I hadn't thought to look. All the uv and scroll speeds are there just not working. Still I know more than I did before, thank you

Hope you can figure out the fish tank stuff.

How do you make non-transparent pool water? There was only one way to make that, with only one color and I already uploaded that one a long time ago. (Don't know anymore how I accomplished that) So if you want to have non-transparent pool water in your game, you need to download that one right HERE or HERE for non-transparent mirrored pool water.
