Hiya,
Thank you for this amazing tutorial, I am having a problem getting past the first stage. When I type in buydebug in the pop up and press enter, it says cheat code not found.
I have the latest version of Sims 4 Studio installed, so I do not know what I am doing wrong.
Please help.
Thank you

Just pick what you wanna do with the object (like standalone recolor) and on the next screen make a checkmark next to the "show debug items" field! I came here to ask the exact same question as you before i realized my mistake, woops!
Can someone make a video tutorial on how to do this? Thanks I found this video very useful:

1. When you are on the first screen of Studio, the one where you first select the kind of project you want to make, hit Ctrl, Shift, and c on your keyboard all at the same time. 2. This will cause a popup box to appear. Type the word buydebug into the popup box.
When i type "buydebug" in the popup box it only says: "cheat code not found"
!!!SOLVED!!!!
Sorry.... it was just answered one post above....

I have a situation that I can't find the answer to, and I apologize if it's here already.
I'm making a world object buyable with a smaller mesh. That's no problem. I've changed the appropriate number to 80, and adjusted the tags and catalogue, and changed the tuning to sculpture. This shows perfectly fine in game and is buyable. Woohoo!
Then, when I go to add recolours in Studio, ONE of them always matches the original in S4S and in game, no matter what the texture file is, and no matter how many new textures I add. So, how do I link new textures to an item that only has one originally, properly, to show all new textures as I'm creating them? I feel like I need to do something with Model LOD in Warehouse, but I can't figure it out.
Thanks in advance!

In S4S add many Swatch + 4s and then remove the first 3 to keep only the 4th. This should unlock possibility to add more calories and keep it when you add Swatch after this.

I recolored one of the debug cars. This worked to make it buyable, but when I place it in game the car disappears as soon as I place it. Is there a way to fix this?
