New TS4 Finds Site!
www.sims4nexus.com
For the past 2 weeks I have been putting together a “finds” site for TS4. My goal is to link a large amount of free content, with an easy to use search filter, and categories. Allow me to share some highlights of what sims4nexus.com has to offer:
Creator Friendly: I do not hotlink, steal content, or link directly to downloads. I do not link “conversion” meshes, unless the original creator has OKed someone else converting them, the original creator has not been active in the simming community for a long time, or the original creator was the one doing the conversion. Names of creators I am linking to are clearly given, and all credit goes to them.
New Posts Daily: With small exceptions, I plan to update my “finds” daily, and actively link new and exciting finds here on tumblr that I come across. To see finds I make on other sites, you will need to check the actual web page: www.sims4nexus.com.
Quality Content: I do not link every new piece of TS4 CC I come across. I am quite picky, and choose mainly what I use in my own game. If I did not link to everyone of your creations, please don’t think that I didn’t find them high quality, I do have my own taste, and also try to not link every single download from every creator, but instead display the very best they have to offer. =)
Easy to Use Layout: My web site is compiled in such a manner that CC finds are easy to see at a glance. You won’t have to scroll through post after post to see each new find, but instead see 8 to 12 at once. You can then, of course, bring them up larger to get the details, and access the links to go to the creator’s page.
Categories: If you are looking for something specific, just click on one of the many categories listed in the menu, to skim through up to 12 finds at once, in order from newest to oldest post.
Recolors: Really love a hair mesh, but want different colors? I try to keep recolors of existing meshes listed on the same page as the mesh so you can easily download first the mesh, and then any recolors you’d like.
Original Content in the Making: I used to mesh and create for TS2, and am working on making creations for TS4, it may take a while yet, but original content is definitely on the way.
Thank you for reading my post. I hope you enjoy my site!
