My normals aren't normal and are flipping out.
I'm making a barstool and when I join all the individual meshes some of the normals flipped on me. No problem, I just reflipped them the way they should be, then, when I imported the mesh into Sims4Studio, the normals were reversed again. Either I did something wrong, or something strange is going on. It's probably something I did. If anyone has any tips for me I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks!

Give them a cup of tea and tell them to take it easy. If that don't work upload the package file somewhere and someone can take a look.

It happened for someone before and it helped doing this:
Go to object mode, press CTRL+A and then select rotation and scale, if the normals flip go to edit mode, select everything, press W and then flip normals. They should look good now, import to S4S.
If it doesnt work post the .package and the .blend

It may not be something you're doing. There is an odd object dependent issue that I ran into recently where the normals were normal appearing in Blender but flipped in Studio...that issue still needs investigating.

I had the same issue, turns out it's because of the "scale" you mentioned didn't toggle on.
