Hi, long time lurker here, first time posting. First, I just want to say (especially to you, orangemittens) I really appreciate all you guys do here. Sims 4 Studio is hands down the most featured, functional, attractive, easy to use tool ever created for any "The Sims" title. You Rock! Thank you.
I've created a recolor for the Tabula Rasa Coffee Table that is not an override or standalone and works with the design tool. It seems to work perfectly but I'm having one tiny problem. The catalog thumbnail is zoomed in a little bit and cutting off the side edges. Following is the exact process I used. No other components, options or settings were touched at all.
1. Selective Clone (Textures, Models, Strings, Definitions, Catalogs, Renumber)
2. Changed swatch color and replaced diffuse texture in Studio > Texture tab and saved
3. In Studio > Tags > Colors, deselected original, selected Black and saved
4. Replaced PrototypeID to match EA original in Warehouse > Object Catalog and saved
5. Checked that no catalog thumbnail created back in Studio > Texture and saved
6. Copied package file to mods folder and loaded game
Here is how Catalog Thumbnail looked upon final save:
EA original:
Mine:
While I'm at it, do I seem to have all of the components needed for this to work properly for myself and anyone I share it with? Or is there anything else that should be included or changed? Is there anything I can safely delete from my package to clean it up and reduce it's size? Through testing I found that the components included are required for the Studio tab in S4S to function, but does that mean they are also required for it to be functional in game? Finally, I noticed that all of the String Tables are in English, will they still translate properly for those who play in other languages, or might I as well just delete the non-English ones if I don't intend to translate myself?
Here is the package file.
