I've just made some kitchen meshes, including counters and sinks that need to have their "dirty image" updated to fit the current mesh/uv map. I absolutely cannot find where or how to do this. Any help appreciated.
(I've looked at the shader tutorial and I can find the list and stuff okay (I think it's the right one) but I have no clue what to do about my problem.)

1. Create a new 512x512 image in your image editor 2. Select a dark green and dark brown colors. Then go to filters and clouds. You should get this: 3. Open your map and paste it inside your new image 4. Make a selection of those parts you would like to look dirty in game 5. Then go to channels, and create an alpha one. In black. Go to your alpha channel and paint the selecion in white. 6. Delete your original map layer. 7. Selec the "dot" tool or "finger" tool in photoshop and add some blurry to your alpha channel. You should get something like this: 8. Save your image in dxt5 interpolated alpha.

nikadema, and upload it where in studio? (I'm submitting the mesh at a website that needs it updated for all items containing dirty/burnt states.)

Hi ohmykomu, if you're submitting your items to a site with special demands for uploads it's best to ask at that site for help meeting those demands.

I have, but they didn't know how to find that in studio. No matter, I've resolved it another way, but that'd be a nice thing for studio to have, since my counter looked... really weird when it was dirty due to that image not being updated.
