Introduction
This tutorial will show you how to change the overlay image used in the dirty state using Sims 4 Studio. This process can also be applied to the burnt state.
This tutorial will not show you how to create a new texture. For further help getting started please see the Build/Buy/Tuning tutorial list.
Q: Can I add a dirty state to an object that doesn't have one?
The answer is... YES! Yes you can. It will be easiest to start with only one swatch in your .package and for the most part you will just follow this tutorial. You will have a few more steps between steps #4 and #5 and I suggest comparing an object that you know already has a dirty state (microwave, counter, etc.) to your current project.
