Thanks @misters Was it just a matter of playing around with the rig in blender until you got the rotation right, or was it simpler?

With a lot of help from Mr S here and trial and error I got my table done. You can see it hereI would not be able to it without his help and studying the table by another great creator whose work can be found at Mod the Sims HereThe table works 100%!

I hadn't seen this thread before and I was working forever on a larger round table. May I just say thank you to all for writing about the process as you went through it and to MrS for allowing the use of your rig and slots. I learn so much from this board and appreciate everyone's helpfulness and generosity. Just need to say it from time to time.

I so agree with you, tkangie. I feel a little cheated though..... have you seen the latest trailing on the backyard stuff for the game? It seems as if they are going to introduce their own round table able to sit more than four! At least we here can say we figured it out first, and can feel proud of it too! It is a wonderful forum. I always get help here, even when only reading through problems other members have experienced!

I did see the big round table in the background and immediately thought of the hard work everyone did here. I agree, though, that you should take pride in having figured it out! I have to say I also learn so much here but I feel bad that I can't really contribute to the learning process. The best I can do is try to make nice things for the game using the tools developed in this forum.

I've been trying to add more chairs to the 3x1 Dining tables that seat 8 so that they would become 4x1 tables that seat 10 sims.
I copied the subroot and 6 accompanying slots and transformed them to the desired location.
Though I have successfully re-positioned existing chair positions on tables, when I add entirely new positions they don't show up in game. Am I missing something here? Are tables simply incapable of handling more than 8 sims?
