Hi ! First thank you for Sims 4 Studio, it's so useful and intuitive ! And I'm so sorry if the issue has already been discussed, I've tried my best to find a solution by myself ! So, for my history challenge I want to make accurate celtic/gallic clothes, which include a long tunic for men. I'm quite pleased with the result EXCEPT for the fact that the lower part of the top goes through the legs when the sims makes big moves. To compare, I've downloaded this Marigold top which is the longest male top I've found, and everything works so fine (3rd picture). I've checked her mesh in Blender, and my problem is even less understandable to me, because I don't see a huge difference :( I'm very new in meshing, so I've spent a lot of time working on my project and trying to fix the issue, I can't give up after all this time ! (don't pay attention to the textures, it's a beta version ! ) Have a nice day !

Hi MLys, welcome to Studio forums. I can't tell for sure without looking at the .package but this looks like a bone assignment issue. If the bottom edge of the tunic is weighted to the waist then it isn't going to move when the Sim moves his leg...it will move (or not move) when the waist part moves. That will cause the leg to move through the edge of the fabric when the Sim's leg moves in front of or behind the position of the waist. To fix it, if this is the problem, you could transfer weights from a similarly long male EA top.

Thank you for your reply ! Yeah, I totally forgot to share my package but you must be right. I tried this tutorial in the forum but in the final step when I click on "nearest vertex" it says "Failed, no other selected objects with vertex groups found". As I'm far to be completely familiarised with Blender I don't understand what it means. I feel ashamed because I'm sure it's simple ! I'm gonna make some searches, thanks again . Edit : I don't find any similarly long male EA top, that's precisely why I downloaded a CC top !

Nope, I'm stucked. I understand what is my problem, that is one point, but I think I fail because I apply the weight transfer tutorial without knowing the "blender logic" behind it. I'm sure there are logical steps to do before and after what is written in the tutorial, but it's not logical to me because I have not assimilated what "weight" "bones" and "vertex groups" really mean. I've read simple lessons about weight but not in this forum, so I don't know what to do with all these informations and which ones are useful in my case... Could someone be kind to explain what steps I need to follow to assign the bottom part of the tunic to the legs please ?

I dit it Once I had understood the process it was very very simple to solve, but without you orangemittens I wouldn't know what was the cause of the problem, because until now I didn't understand what were weights. Edit : I'm so happy
