I'm trying to make a recolour of the "EP02Market" cropped pants from Get Together. As this set of pants has meshes for both male and female wearers I'd like to recolour both, thus making the pants available to all genders. Pre-patch this wouldn't have been an issue - however, I've ran into a problem. As you can see, the pants work fine on every gender/bodyshape combo except for a male sim with a feminine body shape. For some reason, when I try and use the pants on that specific combination, the mesh disappears and is replaced by the default black underwear. I can't for the life of me work out why this is happening only on this specific pair. I feel like it might be a mesh issue but honestly I wouldn't even know where to start regarding a fix for that. I tried using the batch fix in case that would sort it out and no joy, it says the packages don't need fixing. If you'd like to examine the package files I've uploaded them here; it's marketcroppants_female.package that has the issue with the vanishing mesh. EDIT: I just noticed I'm actually missing a swatch on one set of pants. Whoops. Gonna have to fix that, if I ever get this mesh thing sorted out. EDIT 2: Since I've gotten an answer to the problem I removed the download

Am not sure but it is a new patch that just came out and it probably still has a lot of bugs that EA need to fix. I know it might not be the answer but maybe just maybe it might be a bug

Hi sparrows, this is happening because the two .packages are not hooked up the same way the original EA pants are hooked up. Instead, each of yours is referencing the original where they should be referencing each other. The place where they should reference is the OppositeGenderPart field that EA added in the June 2 patch. The reference link is the instance number of the swatch. To fix this you can open up both .packages at the same time (each in its own instance of Studio) and click into the Warehouse. Take the first .package, in this example I've designated the male version as the first, and select the first CAS Part line. Type key into the search bar to get the Key section. Copy the Instance number. Now click into the Warehouse for the 2nd .package. In this example, I've designated the female version the second. Select the first CAS Part line and type opp (Studio will open the OppositeGenderPart field) and paste the instance number you copied into the OppositeGenderPart field. Repeat for each swatch. Repeat for both .packages but reversing the order so that the female key is typed into the male OppositeGenderPart field the same way. In my tests of this system so far, this has been sufficient to make the garment show up for both sexes no matter which fashion choice is made (masculine or feminine) for the Sim. Obviously, this is not an ideal situation in terms of the amount of work it will take to utilize the new feature fully. This is the situation we're stuck with given how EA implemented it though. At some point, Studio will provide a UI on the Studio tab for this so that the process can be accomplished with less tedium.
